UOPC Youth Ministry
Our Mission: The Student Ministry at UOPC is set up to meet you wherever you are in life. We understand that being a teenager in this world is full of challenges in both junior high and senior high school, so we offer opportunities for you to connect with students and leaders on a weekly basis. Check out some of the opportunities we have intentionally created to help you connect and grow:
Whether you’ve practically grown up in the church or you’re just checking out Jesus for the first time, we hope that you’ll be able to learn something new about what Jesus is doing in the world today and how He can make a difference in your life. Check out whats happening with our Junior High (7th – 8th grade) and Senior High (9th – 12th grade) groups below:
Sunday Morning: Junior High and Senior High students meet on Sundays at 9:30am in the church dining room. We meet with the adult Sunday School class during the teaching time and then separate for discussion + prayer. All students in 7th – 12th grade are invited to join us.
Mid-Week: The Cellar is our Mid-Week program of Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church for Junior and Senior high students in 7th – 12th grade. Every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm, students will gather together at the home of Tim and Katie Jones for games, snacks, Bible study, and awesome conversations about real life!
